The real heroes are the teams that work behind-the-scenes at Unifrutti’s farm and procurement sites. There are various product teams like Banana team, apple team, grape team, pomegranate team etc. These teams are headed by Program managers who work alongside operational executives guided by product experts from Unifrutti’s global network. There is a lot that goes into producing that perfect piece of fruit. Under the watchful eye of procurement teams, farms are mapped and planned; fruits are tagged and harvested at the right time; harvested crates are moved to packhouses where they are processed and then packed for various markets.

The Logistics and Supply chain is one of the most important functions, this team ensures that the fresh produce is packed to ensure a safe transition from orchard to plate, and these are delivered at supply points in prime condition. Each leg of the supply chain is monitored efficiently and consistently by a dedicated team.

Once the fruit arrives, the Sales team takes charge. Within the Sales team, there are different teams to ensure that the produce is made available through appropriate channels. The Wholesale operations team is in charge of supplying the fruit in bulk to markets across the country. The Direct Retail Distribution team is in charge of supplying the produce to modern retail outlets and unorganized retail outlets dotting the markets. The Direct to Home team manages a fleet of fruit carts that supply Unifrutti produce to people’s doorsteps in residential housing colonies. Unifrutti has a special initiatives team that organizes fruit-buffets at wedding venues, and fruit gift baskets for gifting purposes.

The Marketing Communications team works towards creating better visibility of the brand. From designing fruit cartons and stickers, to collaterals, banners and exhibition materials this team ensures that the brand guidelines are followed consistently. This team organizes events to make a direct connection with the consumers and understand their needs and requirements while ensuring that they get to know Unifrutti as a friendly brand.

The Human Resources team manages the tough task of finding the right people for the right job at various locations all over the country. This team works towards ensuring job satisfaction among employees by providing regular training and orientation to the teams.

The Finance and Accounts teams manage the financial functions including resource mobilization, management of cash flow, investments, financial planning activities and providing strategic financial support for business and operations. They also meet external and internal financial reporting requirements.
